My vacation this year.

Fun Fact: On August 21st of NEXT year Myrtle Beach SC will lie directly at or near the path of the Moon's penumbral shadow during the upcoming total solar eclipse event. Biggest such event in almost 100 years. Sun will disappear behind the Moon for freakishly long 2 min 31 secs. SO NATURALLY every major hotel has been booked that entire week pretty much since May of THIS year. Presumably also true for every vaycay spot along the SC coast. No vacancies expected, but we'll keep an eye out. Meanwhile we're looking into Nashville TN instead, which will put us a bit closer as apocalyptic darkness (read: a trite celestial coincidence) consumes us all.
